What is Kanban Software?

The Kanban board is a visual dashboard that displays all tasks within a project. The tasks are represented by cards, which are organized in columns. The columns represent the different stages of a project and are usually labeled “To Do”, “In Progress” and “Done”. The project progresses as cards move from one column to another.

Though there are default workflow stages within a Kanban board, they can be customized and edited according to a team’s work routine. Modern Kanban systems often have additional columns that specify the progress of tasks more accurately, such as “Code Review” or “Editing”. The simplicity of Kanban makes it easy for anyone to spot bottlenecks that could slow down the project’s due date.

Kanban promotes visibility and real-time tracking, which keeps team members in the loop. Teams. The Kanban board has been adapted for various uses, from product roadmap to content planning.
